Ingredients

  • 500 g of apples,
  • 2 bags of cinnamon,
  • 1 kg of white potatoes,
  • 2 eggs,
  • 50 g margarine for cookies,
  • 600 g of buckwheat flour,
  • 200 g breadcrumbs,
  • 5 tablespoons of oil

Method of preparation

Boil potatoes in salted water (1 tablespoon of salt) and mash. Add margarine and let it cool, then add eggs and flour. Mix the mixture well. Cut the apples into cubes, mix with cinnamon. Roll out the dough to a maximum thickness of 1 cm, cut into squares. Put 1 tablespoon of apples in the middle of each square and form the dough in the shape of a dumpling in the palms of your hands. Cook in water for about 20 minutes (the dumplings will rise to the surface). Heat the oil, add the breadcrumbs and fry them. Remove from heat, add previously cooked dumplings and mix. Sprinkle the warm dumplings with granulated sugar, to taste.
