Ingredients

  • 200 g of smooth wheat flour type 550
  • ½ baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 40 g of butter
  • 120 ml of warm water

Method of preparation

Mix the flour with baking powder and salt. Pour melted butter and warm water over it and knead a soft dough with the help of an electric mixer. Let it stand at room temperature for about 2 hours. Move and divide the dough into 10 pieces. Form the balls and roll them on a floured surface into a very thin dough (diameter 13-15 cm). Carefully transfer to an ungreased pan and cook for 20 seconds on one side, turn, cook for 20 seconds, then turn again and cook for another short time. Cover the baked tortillas with a cloth so they don’t dry out.
